Job Responsibility
Overseeing the wellbeing, behaviour management and social-emotional development of students in the assigned year
Fostering an exemplary standard of pastoral care of students, based on the framework of Restorative Practices
Leading and fostering the professional development of Pastoral Care Teachers
Supporting the transition of new students to the year level and College
Leading the implementation of social-emotional learning in the assigned year level, utilising the framework of the Respectful Relationships program
Requirements
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with people at all levels and from varying backgrounds
Sound organisational and administrative skills
A proven capacity to work independently and effectively in the face of changing priorities, deadlines and pressure
An ability to work collaboratively and facilitate dynamic teamwork
A capacity to work with staff to build capacity
A capacity for creative problem-solving and adaptability
