We’re seeking an Acting Year Level Leader (Year 7) at our St Catherine Campus (Mickleham) for the period from 13 July 2026 to 26 January 2027, with the potential for an ongoing teaching opportunity at the growing campus. We’re looking for someone who thrives on collaboration, builds positive relationships and supports students and staff with confidence and care. Job Responsibility

  • Overseeing the wellbeing, behaviour management and social-emotional development of students in the assigned year
  • Fostering an exemplary standard of pastoral care of students, based on the framework of Restorative Practices
  • Leading and fostering the professional development of Pastoral Care Teachers
  • Supporting the transition of new students to the year level and College
  • Leading the implementation of social-emotional learning in the assigned year level, utilising the framework of the Respectful Relationships program

Requirements

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with people at all levels and from varying backgrounds
  • Sound organisational and administrative skills
  • A proven capacity to work independently and effectively in the face of changing priorities, deadlines and pressure
  • An ability to work collaboratively and facilitate dynamic teamwork
