Job Description:

An ‘Outstanding’ Primary School in the Borough of Haringey are seeking a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join their fantastic team in September 2025! This is a Long-Term, Full-Time position that will involving working in the school for at least the full academic year.

Job Responsibility:

Working with children aged 10-11 years in and out of the classroom
Supporting students with SEND/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis, focusing on Phonics and Reading
Helping class teachers to deliver lesson material and meet academic targets

Requirements:

A graduate with strong academics across the board, including Degree, A-Levels, and GCSEs
A desire to work with children of all ages and abilities
Previous experience working with children and SEND/SEMH needs
A confident and motivated individual looking to get stuck in from the start
