Job Description

Looking for a Year 6 role where you can focus on preparing pupils for their next chapter while being supported by a strong leadership team? A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Brighton & Hove is seeking an enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity to teach a motivated class and play a key role in helping pupils develop the confidence, resilience and academic skills they need for a successful transition to secondary school. Job Responsibility

  • Full responsibility for a Year 6 class
  • Delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across the curriculum
  • Preparing pupils for end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments while maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • UK Experience teaching within KS2
  • Highly reliable
  • DBS on the update service, or willing to apply
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
  • A positive, adaptable and collaborative approach
  • A commitment to helping every child reach their full potential
