Job Description:

Year 5 Teacher - Long-Term Opportunity. Are you an experienced and passionate primary teacher seeking a rewarding long-term role with a strong focus on behaviour management? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join a thriving primary school on a long-term basis, covering a Year 5 class until the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

Teaching a class of 20 Year 5 students with varying needs in a mainstream primary school setting
Creating engaging and effective lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Working closely with the school's leadership team and support staff to ensure the smooth running of the classroom and the implementation of the school's curriculum

Requirements:

Qualified teacher with a valid UK teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
Proven experience teaching Year 5 or a similar age group
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to effectively manage challenging behaviour
Passionate about education and committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for all students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
