Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a small, community-focused primary school in Crawley. Starting from October half-term, this long-term role will run until the end of the academic year, providing much-needed stability for a class that has experienced several teacher changes this year. This position includes full teaching responsibilities, ensuring continuity and leadership for the pupils.

Job Responsibility:

Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, and assessment
Providing consistent leadership and support to a Year 5 class that requires stability and structure
Engaging with a values-driven approach to help pupils reach their full potential both academically and personally
Creating a stimulating learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop skills like problem-solving, reflecting, and collaboration

Requirements:

Experience in Key Stage 2
Strong behaviour management skills
A commitment to fostering an engaging, supportive classroom environment
