Job Description:

Year 5 Teacher - A long-term opportunity in a thriving primary school to teach a class of 20 Year 5 students, focused on behaviour management and curriculum alignment.

Job Responsibility:

Teaching a class of 20 Year 5 students with varying needs in a mainstream primary school setting
Creating engaging and effective lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Managing strong behaviour control and maintaining a safe learning space
Collaborating with the school's leadership team and support staff to ensure effective classroom operations and curriculum implementation

Requirements:

Qualified teacher with a valid UK teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
Proven experience teaching Year 5 or a similar age group
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to effectively manage challenging behaviour
Passionate about education and committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for all students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
