Maternity Cover – Year 5 Class Teacher. Near Chichester | 2‑Form Entry Primary School. Full‑Time | Teachers’ Payscale. Start: ASAP – Until Summer. Possibility of a follow‑on Year 4 role from September. Are you an enthusiastic, dedicated Primary Teacher looking for a fantastic new opportunity in a supportive and well‑established school? A lovely 2-form entry primary school just outside Chichester is seeking a confident and engaging Year 5 Class Teacher for a maternity cover until the end of the summer term — with a strong possibility of a continuation into a Year 4 role after the summer.

Job Responsibility:

Teaching the Year 5 curriculum with creativity, clarity and confidence
Sharing planning and resources with your Year 5 partner teacher
Delivering engaging lessons that stretch, challenge and support all learners
Building excellent relationships with pupils, staff and families
Contributing to the wider school community and ethos

Requirements:

A qualified teacher (QTS essential)
Someone confident, organised and passionate about upper KS2
Strong behaviour management and a positive, nurturing approach
A team player who enjoys shared planning and collaboration
A teacher who can bring energy, warmth and consistency
