Job Description:

This beautiful one‑form entry primary school in Horsham is seeking a passionate Year 4 Teacher to join them for a maternity cover beginning right after Easter. You’ll be taking on a well‑established Year 4 class, with strong routines and structures already in place. ECTs are welcome, and experienced teachers up to M6 will love the autonomy and supportive ethos.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering engaging, well‑sequenced lessons across the KS2 curriculum
  • Maintaining high expectations while nurturing confidence and independence
  • Working closely with the SENDCo to ensure all pupils thrive

Requirements:

  • A committed, enthusiastic teacher who loves working in KS2
  • Someone organised, positive and confident in delivering high‑quality teaching
  • Strong communication and a nurturing, relationship‑focused approach

  • All staff must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services
