This beautiful one‑form entry primary school in Horsham is seeking a passionate Year 4 Teacher to join them for a maternity cover beginning right after Easter. You’ll be taking on a well‑established Year 4 class, with strong routines and structures already in place. ECTs are welcome, and experienced teachers up to M6 will love the autonomy and supportive ethos.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering engaging, well‑sequenced lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Maintaining high expectations while nurturing confidence and independence
Working closely with the SENDCo to ensure all pupils thrive
Building great relationships with parents and the local community
Contributing positively to school life

Requirements:

A committed, enthusiastic teacher who loves working in KS2
Someone organised, positive and confident in delivering high‑quality teaching
Strong communication and a nurturing, relationship‑focused approach
A team player with a genuine passion for helping children flourish
All staff must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services
