Job Description:

The Randstad Education team is seeking a Year 4 Teacher to fill a long term position for a friendly and welcoming Primary School located in Hemel Hempstead. This role starts from January 2026 on a full-time basis. The school is looking for someone who can commit to the position for the fixed term and will also be flexible enough to remain should there be a need. This role will involve ensuring Y2 pupils have the most successful academic year. There are chances for this role to go permanent for the right candidate,who is willing to commit and thrive in a dynamic and supportive primary school environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing targeted interventions as needed
  • Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the overall development and improvement of the school's curriculum
  • Establishing effective communication with parents and guardians to support students' academic and social development

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Relevant teaching experience, with a focus on Year 4
  • Right to work in the UK
  • 2 relevant professional /proven references
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and assessment procedures
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for fostering a love of learning
