Are you looking for a key stage 2 teaching post? Do you support the belief that all children should receive an outstanding education focusing on aspiration, high expectations and personalisation? Would you like to join an 'excellent' Primary School? An opportunity has arisen to join a welcoming and dynamic Primary School in Manchester. The position is a Key Stage 2 class teaching role, specifically in Year 4. This is a full-time and long-term position for 5 days per week. Working hours would be from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM. You will be dedicated to providing a safe and happy classroom, where children are motivated to learn.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lesson planning to ensure the KS2 - Year 4 curriculum is met
  • Adapting to different ages and stages of learning
  • Communicating effectively with children, staff, parents and carers
  • Safeguarding children
  • Setting, marking and giving feedback on work/homework

Requirements:

  • An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one
  • PGCE & QTS
  • Good knowledge and experience of the UK national curriculum
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
