Job Description:

justteachers is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Leicester to recruit a passionate Year 3 Class Teacher. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Year 3 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that promote progress, independence, and a love of learning. You will be supported by a strong leadership team and have access to excellent resources and professional development. This role is due to start in February and will continue for the rest of the academic year.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
  • Create a positive and structured classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
