Job Description:

Inspire the Next Step in Their Journey - Year 3 Primary Teacher. Year 3 is a pivotal year as students transition from infants to juniors. We are looking for someone who can bridge that gap with creativity, high expectations, and a nurturing touch.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take full responsibility for a Year 3 class, fostering a love for reading, writing, and mathematics
  • Help students develop the independent learning skills required for the junior years
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure the holistic well-being of every pupil
  • Use creative assessment techniques to monitor progress and close any learning gaps

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • A strong understanding of the Year 3 curriculum and the transition from KS1
  • The ability to plan and deliver 'hook-in' lessons that capture the imagination of 7 and 8-year-olds
  • A commitment to supporting students of all abilities, including those with EAL and SEND
  • A belief that every child can achieve, regardless of their starting point
