Job Description:

Justteachers is seeking a Year 3 Primary Teacher, who is looking for a Long term role, in a Primary school in the Blackley area of Manchester on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in April 2026, with shortlisting currently underway. A lively and nurturing primary setting known for its creative, broad curriculum and strong focus on developing confident, resilient learners. Staff are highly committed to supporting each child as an individual, fostering a happy, secure environment where children thrive and develop a genuine enthusiasm for learning.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering well‑structured lessons that support progression across all core subjects
Using ongoing assessment to identify gaps and adjust planning accordingly
Supporting pupils with differing abilities, including SEND and EAL learners
Ensuring high standards of behaviour through positive reinforcement and clear expectations
Providing regular, meaningful feedback to pupils to support academic and personal development
Maintaining accurate records of attainment and progress to inform reports and planning
Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing
Contributing to year‑group and whole‑school planning, initiatives and events
Working closely with teaching assistants to maximise support within the classroom
Taking responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status and relevant primary training
Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum and assessment
Proven experience teaching in UK primary schools
Ability to support varied learning needs including SEND and EAL
