justteachers is recruiting a Year 3 General Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in the Burnley area, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year. This role is ideal for a teaching assistant experienced in lower KS2, confident in supporting learning, promoting independence, and contributing to a positive classroom culture.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide in‑class support to the Year 3 teacher across all core subjects
  • Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and resource management
  • Help maintain a calm, friendly and focused learning environment

Requirements

  • Experience working in a primary school, ideally within KS2
