Job Description:

Year 2 Supply Teacher | KS1 Specialist | Local Primary Schools. Position: Full-Time or Part-Time, Flexible (Term Time Only). Salary: £140 - £233 per day (Weekly Pay - dependent on experience). Start Date: Immediate / Next Term. Are you an experienced KS1 practitioner who loves the energy of an end-of-key-stage year? Join our local primary network as a Year 2 Supply Teacher and help pupils finish their infant's journey with confidence and curiosity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in Literacy and Numeracy
  • continue to embed strong decoding skills and foster a love for reading
  • maintain a focused and positive learning environment using established behaviour management strategies
  • follow the permanent teacher's planning accurately or use own high-quality emergency resources

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS
  • Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • solid understanding of KS1 assessment frameworks and the Year 2 National Curriculum
  • resilient and adaptable
  • enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply
  • 100% dedicated to Safeguarding
