Job Description:

A primary school in Merton seeks a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child having special needs. The role starts in September 2025 and involves supporting classroom activities, attending to students' personal needs, and contributing to a creatively engaging learning environment. Successful candidates will receive excellent CPD opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

Provide 1:1 support to a child in Year 2
Assist with students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Speech and Language issues
Use your creativity and imagination to excite the pupils

Requirements:

A graduate with a strong academic background
A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for children to flourish within
Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities
Great communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have:

Experience working with children with SEN
Knowledge of SEN environments including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Speech and Language issues
