Pink Tile Education is delighted to partner with a fantastic 3‑form entry primary school in Chichester, who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join their thriving KS1 team. With three classes in each year group, you will be joining a strong, experienced team with a well‑established culture of shared planning and professional openness. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is keen to be part of a dynamic, forward‑thinking school community.

Job Responsibility:

  • Full responsibility for a friendly, motivated Year 2 class
  • Delivering purposeful, engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum
  • Working closely with your Y2 team to plan, assess and review learning
  • Supporting pupils through the crucial transition between KS1 and KS2
  • Creating a warm, structured environment that supports progress and independence
  • Contributing to wider school life, values and community events

Requirements:

  • Qualified primary teacher (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
  • Confident in delivering the KS1 curriculum, especially Y2 expectations
  • Passionate about high‑quality teaching and pupil progress
  • Skilled at fostering positive relationships with pupils and families
  • Organised, reflective and proactive in their practice
  • A strong team‑player who enjoys collaboration within a 3‑form entry structure
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services
