• Delivering engaging and creative lessons aligned with Year 1 curriculum goals
• Teaching high-quality phonics, early reading and early maths
• Using play-based and structured learning to build confidence and independence
• Creating a nurturing, consistent classroom environment
• Working closely with the KS1 team to plan, assess and differentiate
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
• Contributing to a positive, upbeat school community

• Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS)
• Confident and experienced in KS1
• Strong in phonics and early literacy teaching
• Warm, nurturing and energetic
• Able to build trust and relationships quickly
• Creative, organised and passionate about child development
• A real team-player who enjoys shared planning and collaboration
• All staff must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services
