Job Description

justteachers have an exciting opportunity to join a large 3 form entry Primary school located in Leicester. They are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time role on a long term supply basis and will start at the beginning of February.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional wellbeing and encourages curiosity and independence
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupils’ progress, providing timely feedback to children and parents
  • Differentiate instruction to support pupils with varying abilities, including those with SEND and EAL needs

Requirements

  • Must have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Two education or school based references
  • Have experience working in Year 1
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for education
