Job Responsibility

  • Continuity in Education: Play a pivotal role in ensuring student's learning remains consistent and engaging even in the absence of their regular teacher
  • Follow Lesson Plans: Utilise the provided lesson plans and resources from the class teacher to create an effective and engaging learning experience
  • Collaboration: Share insights, strategies, and best practices with fellow staff members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
  • Building Relationships: Develop strong connections with staff, students, and families to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
  • Feedback and Support: Mark lessons taught and offer concise feedback to the class teacher when required
  • Effective Use of Resources: Work collaboratively with teaching assistants to provide optimal support for all learners

Requirements

  • Qualified Year 1 Teacher with a QTS/PGCE
