Job Description:

A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Whitefield is seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support in a Year 1 class, with an immediate start available. This role involves working closely on a 1:1 basis with a Year 1 pupil who has sensory needs. You will provide tailored support to help the pupil access learning, regulate behaviour and engage positively within the classroom. This is a full-time role with an immediate start available.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 1 pupil
  • Implement strategies to support sensory needs and engagement
  • Work closely with the class teacher to support the progress of the pupil
  • Help maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience in a primary school setting
