Join our local primary network as a Year 1 Supply Teacher and inspire young learners as they transition into their first formal years of schooling. Flexibility Without the Burnout. We are seeking enthusiastic KS1 Teachers to lead Year 1 classes across a variety of high-achieving and community-focused schools. This role is ideal for those who want to focus on high-quality teaching and pupil engagement rather than endless data tracking and weekend planning.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that bridge the gap between play-based learning and KS1 structure
  • utilising your knowledge of Phonics (e.g., Read Write Inc, Jolly Phonics, or Little Wandle) to boost reading confidence
  • quickly build rapport with new groups of children, maintaining a calm, productive, and safe learning environment
  • differentiate tasks on the fly to support pupils with diverse needs, ensuring every child stays on track with the day's objectives

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS
  • are a KS1 specialist
  • are adaptable
  • are committed
  • hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or are willing to apply)
  • are 100% dedicated to Safeguarding
