Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Yardi Administrator to take ownership of day-to-day Yardi support, ticket resolution, and small enhancement projects. This Yardi Administrator role is critical in centralizing Yardi expertise and alleviating an existing team member who is currently managing a high volume of system-related work. This Yardi Administrator role is a highly interactive role requiring strong troubleshooting skills, functional Yardi knowledge, and the ability to work closely with end users to resolve issues in real time. This Yardi Administrator role is for an onsite long term contract to fulltime position.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the primary owner of Yardi application support, managing a high volume of tickets related to: User errors and training gaps, Data inconsistencies and corrections, Workflow and process-related questions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues by: Walking users through problems step-by-step, Explaining system behavior and proper usage, Applying backend fixes and data updates as needed
  • Support a Yardi v7 (legacy) environment while assisting with the transition to Yardi Elevate
  • Execute small enhancement projects including configuration updates, cleanup efforts, and process improvements
  • Provide functional support across key Yardi modules: Procure-to-Pay, Financials (basic accounting processes), Residential / Public Housing, Inspections, Maintenance applications and integrations
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams when needed

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience supporting Yardi in a production environment
  • Strong understanding of public housing and/or residential housing workflows
  • Knowledge of financial processes, especially Procure-to-Pay
  • Excellent communication and end-user support skills (patience, clarity, and empathy required)
  • Proven ability to manage tickets and small projects independently
  • Comfortable working in a legacy system environment (Yardi v7)
  • Willingness to work onsite across two locations

Nice to have

  • Run and support existing Yardi reports
  • Modify or troubleshoot SQL-based reports
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting requests
  • Exposure to BI tools or reporting platforms is a plus
