Job Description:

Our client is a leading National Steel Stud Manufacturer with a strong presence across Canada. As a registered member fabricator of the Canadian Sheet Steel Building Institute (CSSBI), they provide fully engineered and tested systems, design assistance, and cost-saving options. With over 1,000 successfully completed projects in various building types, they are dedicated to quality and excellence. We are looking for a Shipping/Receiving Team Lead who is proficient and certified in operating a sit-down forklift to join our clients growing team.

Job Responsibility:

Operate a sit-down forklift (counterbalance, propane)
Perform 90% of duties outdoors in the yard
Coordinate with truckers for material loading and unloading
Conduct inventory counting and management

Requirements:

Valid Forklift Certification
Minimum 1 year Supervisory or Team Lead experience
Prior experience operating a sit-down forklift (counterbalance, propane)
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Comfortable working outdoors in the yard
Ability to interact with truckers during material pickups
Must have legal authorization to work in Canada (Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Canadian work permit)

What we offer:

Full-time position
Straight day shift: Monday-Friday (8:00 am-4:30 pm)
Starting pay of $25 and up based on experience
May lead to a long-term permanent position
Get paid weekly through Randstad
