Job Description:

The role’s purpose is to be part of a team of operatives that work together to maintain a safe, clean, fully functional site, offer a knowledgeable, helpful, and professional service to our customers and to undertake various different duties as the individual’s skill set develops and as directed by the Yard Supervisor.

Job Responsibility:

Provide a prompt, polite, helpful and professional service to customers in branch and at delivery destinations
Identifying, picking, processing, and issuing goods accurately and to deadlines
Manual rack filling with timber and sheet materials
Housekeeping of warehouses and yard

Requirements:

Full UK Driving License desirable but not essential
Ability to identify and locate products quickly and accurately
Ability to provide a courteous and professional approach to customers
Ability to self-motivate, organise, and execute tasks
Ability to work safely and cleanly
Forklift Licence desirable but not essential
Timber knowledge preferred but not essential
