Job Description:

Yard Person to help keep our operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping things in order, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to operate equipment safely.

Job Responsibility:

Load and unload deliveries efficiently and safely
Checks incoming materials, equipment, and supplies against packing slips
Record all materials leaving the yard
Assist with picking and preparing inventory materials for dispatch
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the yard and buildings
Operate a forklift and other equipment as required
Drive a truck to deliver materials to job sites
Perform routine inspections of yard equipment and report any issues
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
Support other team members and departments as needed
Manual labour and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment preferred
Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to lift heavy items and work in various weather conditions
Strong organizational and time management skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
