Job Description:

Matsqui Ag-Repair, located in Abbotsford, BC, is looking for a skilled and motivated individual for a Yard Person / Shop Helper opening in our Service Department. We are the authorized dealer for JCB Agriculture, SILOKING, McCormick, and TYM Tractors, as well as the authorized Western Canada distributor for McHale. This is an opportunity for an ambitious individual to join an established dealership with plenty of growth opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Keep lot organized and clean
  • Wash/clean equipment
  • Load and unload equipment and confirm that documentation is accurate
  • Assist mechanics
  • Parts and/or equipment pick up or drop off

Requirements:

  • Valid B.C. drivers license - premium paid if hold a class 1
  • Punctual
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to drive a vehicle with a manual transmission
  • Familiar with the Fraser Valley and surrounding areas
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A self starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must speak, read and write English fluently

Nice to have:

Preference will be given to applicants that have heavy equipment operating experience and/or a first aid certificate
