Job Description

We are seeking a motivated self-starter, to join our Yard/Warehouse team as a Machine Operator (Fork and Clamps and Front End Loader). This role is based at our longstanding Kawerau site, in the Bay of Plenty. Yard Machine Operators are required to maintain the site Yard operations, which include inbound and outbound activities as well as ongoing maintenance.

Job Responsibility

  • Unloading and inspecting incoming shipments, stocking and storing raw materials – including chemicals
  • Picking and supplying materials to multiple production departments onsite
  • Clearing waste materials for reprocessing
  • Operate and maintain yard vehicles (Forklift, clamps, truck operations both onsite and offsite and front end loader), organise yard spaces, contribute idea on ways to improve or optimise current procedures

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrate being innovative and practical, with good attention to detail
  • Inventory management
  • Ability to work with different people and departments onsite
  • Computer literate and able to learn new systems
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Enjoy working in a tightknit team environment
  • HT for truck operations & a Forklift Licence (or willing/able to get one immediately)
