Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Yard Operative to join our team in Long Whatton. The primary purpose of a yard operative is to support the smooth running of the yard by carrying out various duties.

Job Responsibility

Organising and maintaining stock in the tacks
General maintenance and housekeeping duties across the yard
Ensure all recycling of plastic wrap, banding and cardboard are carried out daily and the recycling area is well managed and kept tidy at all times
To act in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the company’s health and safety Policies
May be required to support other departments as needed

Requirements

Ability to follow health and Safety procedures and protocols, including reporting hazards and incidents
Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments
Forklift Licence desirable but non-essential
