We’re now looking for a reliable Yard Operative to join our team at our CRS Building Supplies Keynsham Branch. The Role: We are looking for a Yard Operative to support the safe and efficient running of our builders’ merchant yard. This is a hands‑on, outdoor role involving heavy building materials and direct customer interaction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Load and unload building materials and timber
  • Pick and prepare customer orders
  • Assist customers collecting goods from the yard
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe yard area
  • Operate forklift trucks (if trained)
  • Follow all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Yard or builders’ merchant experience (desirable)
  • Sales or product knowledge is a bonus
