Job Responsibility

  • Safely moving, stacking, and transferring lumber shipments using a counterbalance forklift
  • Palletizing orders, securing loads, and staging materials in the correct shipping zones
  • Keeping stock levels organized, accurately sorted, and easily accessible
  • Working comfortably outdoors across all seasons (making full use of the heated forklift cab during the winter)
  • Pitching in with general warehouse tasks and maintaining a clean, safe work environment

Requirements

  • A current, valid Counterbalance Forklift certification
  • Previous experience working in an outdoor yard environment or heavy industrial setting
  • Ability to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs and handle the physical demands of a busy yard
  • Comfortable working outdoors year-round in various weather conditions
