Job Description

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Yard Worker/Forklift Operator to join our growing team in Milton for a permanent, direct-hire opportunity. In this role, you will be a key player in our lumber yard, managing inventory replenishment, organizing stock levels, and handling day-to-day order management. Working Monday to Friday, this stable full-time position offers a straightforward schedule alongside general yard and warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

Loading & Unloading: Safely move shipments using a forklift and warehouse equipment
Order Preparation: Palletize and stage orders in the correct shipping zones
Outdoor Yard Work: Work outdoors comfortably year-round (forklift has a heated cab)
General Support: Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements

Valid Counterbalance Forklift certification
Prior experience working in outdoors, yard operations
Comfortably lifting up to 50 lbs
Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
Excellent attendance record and a positive, team-first attitude
