Job Description:

Randstad's Industrial Division is currently hiring a Yard Forklift Operator for a busy Manufacturing company in Calgary. The position requires operating a Counterbalance Forklift, collaborating with departments, and performing additional warehouse duties. Qualifications include prior forklift experience, PPE ownership, and comfort in a busy, dusty environment.

Job Responsibility:

Operate the Counterbalance Forklift (Cat. 4500lbs lifting capacity)
Collaborate with various departments for a steady workflow
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Lift up to 50lbs - 60lbs
Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned
Must be comfortable with working outside

Requirements:

Previous experience operating a forklift in a construction, manufacturing, production, or industrial setting
Internal forklift certification will be provided (External certificate is considered an asset)
Must own and wear PPE, including metatarsal steel-toe boots
Ability to work in a busy, noisy, and dusty environment

Nice to have:

External forklift certification
Experience operating other machinery including press brake or shear machines
