Job Description

The Yard Coordinator position at Coates Belmont is a key operational role in a high-traffic yard environment focused on maintaining safe, organised and efficient operations. As well as providing a high level of customer service, you will also: Organise and maintain yard layout, workflow and cleanliness; Support general equipment movements; Always demonstrate safe work practices; Communicate effectively with customers, drivers and transport contractors; Identify equipment or items that require attention or repair; Prioritise tasks, manage competing demands and take initiative; Contribute to a supportive and high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Current Forklift Licence
  • EWP Licence (desirable)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Experience working around mobile equipment
  • Exposure to civil, mining or industrial environments (desirable)
  • Experience loading and unloading equipment
  • Strong knowledge of load restraint practices
  • A proactive approach to workplace health and safety
  • A genuine interest in building a stable, long-term career with Coates
