As our Special Proc Technologist, you will be a vital clinical professional, applying specialized X-ray energy for patient diagnosis or treatment. Every day, you'll meticulously perform complex radiological procedures and techniques, producing high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. You'll ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning, operating advanced equipment with precision and upholding imaging standards. To be successful, you'll combine strong technical expertise with exceptional attention to detail, a deep understanding of radiation safety, and a compassionate, patient-focused approach, contributing to accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.

Requirements:
Medical Radiographer: CA
Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech (FLRAD) CA
Displays competency in general radiology in addition to one other modality: Angiography Special Procedures, MRI, CT, or Mammography
Anatomy and physiology for imaging including cross sectional relationships
Medical terminology relating to Imaging
Principles of operation and care of primary and accessory imaging equipment
Currently accepted diagnostic Radiologic procedures Radiation safety requirements and practices for the operator, patient and public
Film processing systems and/or PACS
Accurately operate and care for Information System computers in the department
Work independently on-call covering all normal clerical and technical functions
