As part of the Microsoft Global Communications team, you will join a group of professionals focused on telling the stories that help people fall in love with Xbox games, Xbox services & devices, and the positive impact Xbox gaming will have in the world. Act as the senior communications leader for APAC, serving as a trusted advisor to regional and global leadership on reputation, cultural dynamics, regulatory environments, and market‑specific opportunities or risks
Lead, develop, and inspire a geographically distributed team, setting clear expectations, operating rhythms, and accountability models that enable consistent excellence across markets
Drive integrated storytelling across media, creators, social, and owned channels, ensuring culturally relevant narratives that deepen brand affinity, trust, and player engagement
Creativity and experimentation are encouraged
Establish and govern agency strategy and investment, overseeing partner selection, performance, and budget management to ensure high‑impact execution and strong ROI
Anticipate, manage, and mitigate reputational risk, leading high‑stakes, time‑sensitive issues with strong judgment, clarity of decision‑making, and alignment across stakeholders
Use data, insights, and market intelligence to guide strategy, evaluate effectiveness, and continuously refine regional communications performance
Foster deep cross‑functional collaboration with Marketing, Product, Trust & Safety, Legal, Policy, and regional business teams to deliver unified, solutions‑led communications outcomes
Lead with calm, clarity, and conviction during moments of pressure — bringing strong judgment and decisive leadership when the stakes are high and the path forward is not obvious
Balance instinct with insight, using data, signals, and cultural intelligence to sharpen strategy and prove impact — while knowing when to trust creative judgment
Stay up to date on all gaming, media & entertainment news, monitor competitors and other industry leaders for learnings, insights and best practices
