Job Description:

We are seeking a Worship Leader to provide spiritual and musical leadership for a growing Bible-believing church in Yukon, OK. Rooted in Baptist traditions, the church is committed to helping people KNOW Jesus, GROW in their faith, and GO share His love through meaningful worship experiences. The Worship Leader will lead worship services, support broader church functions, and help shape the church’s worship ministry vision. This is a direct hire, salaried position with weekly responsibilities, mainly Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, including additional support for special events and ministry opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead live worship during Sunday and Wednesday services
  • Coordinate song selection with the Pastor to align with the message and theme
  • Oversee sound booth operations and volunteer scheduling
  • Support church events and outside groups using the facility
  • Participate in leadership/staff meetings and help shape the worship vision
  • Contribute to annual worship ministry budgeting and planning
  • Shepherd the worship team and congregation through prayer, mentorship, and biblical guidance

Requirements:
