Worship Director for New Life Community Church in Aurora, Colorado. A multi-ethnic, multi-generational church seeking to be a 'house of prayer for all nations'.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • A committed Christian with an exemplary life and sense of calling to worship ministry
  • A sound understanding of the Bible and application of it in corporate worship services and in all areas of life
  • A maturity to work submissively both with your Staff Supervisor and ultimately the Senior Pastor
  • A relational ability to work well with musicians, technical crews, artists, youth musicians, and other ministry leaders in a healthy and flexible manner
  • A heart for and ability to identify, empower and train musicians to grow in both the art and heart of serving as Worship Team members
  • A heart for worship that desires to lead a congregation in praise and worship
  • Familiarity with a wide range of musical styles and genres
  • Musical aptitude to play and lead congregational singing on one or more instruments
  • Ability to recruit, train and oversee volunteer musicians
  • Ability to lead and/or oversee bands and vocal ensembles
  • A proficiency in using Planning Center and Multi-tracks Systems, or willingness to be trained

Nice to have:

Ability to speak Spanish preferred, but not necessary
