Job Description

Working under the guidance of the Head of Strategic Projects, responsible for the delivery and project management requirements of the Programme Resilience workstream which comprises a number of projects designed to strategically provide resilience into the programme, remove single point vulnerabilities and ultimately accelerate mission. This workstream lead will work closely with the Head of Programme to implement project identified by programme. Projects developed under this workstream may evolve into workstreams in their own right.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline required
  • APM Qualified or higher
  • Minimum 10 years experience within project management or similar roles
  • Nuclear industry experience
  • Strong Leadership ability
  • Advanced interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and direct complex team structures
  • Ability to generate and maintain an "at pace" delivery environment
  • Able to develop relationships with stakeholders in upper management positions and client organisations
  • Ability to analyse problems, establish facts and make complex decisions with little to no supervision
  • Ability to drive change/ changes in working practices
  • Ability to challenge established ways of working whilst using interpersonal skills to bring Stakeholders on the journey
  • UK National Security Vetting Status - Due to the nature of the project all applicants must hold active SC Clearance
