Norse Highways currently have an opening for a Workshop Works Co-ordinator to join our successful team based at our Workshop based in Hethersett. This role is being offered on a Full Time, Permanent basis working 40 hours per week.
Job Responsibility:
Allocate the servicing and repair of vehicles, plant and equipment to relevant Workshops to ensure that all assets are fit for purpose and meet any appropriate legislation requirements and standards e.g., O license, DVSA, NFCC, Quality Assurance etc.
Legal documents, job cards and any other appropriate documentation is completed as required and aligned with appropriate standards and deadlines
Monitor and report to ensure work is being carried out in a timely manner to minimise vehicle downtime and maximise workshop income
Control the vehicle defecting reporting procedure using the R2C online portal for the fleet
Ensuring good customer relations with colleagues, other customers, suppliers and other partner organisations
Ensure the team complies with expected standards of behaviour
Requirements:
City & Guilds, or NVQ equivalent certification in a vehicle discipline
Knowledge of Health and Safety and ability to promote best practice as an individual and for others
Proven experience of working within a commercial / Light Vehicle Workshop
Experience in vehicle servicing, inspecting, diagnosing, repairing with understanding of timescales
Good Understanding of the Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness and HGV Inspection Manual to ensure a declaration of Roadworthiness post repair can be made and to triage daily defect reporting ensuring vehicles remain compliant whilst in use

Driver CPC
IRTEC certificate of competence in the inspection of vehicles
Operating and knowledge of the R2C Online Software and Portal or similar maintenance recording system
