Job Description:

Want to get involved at the very heart of the workshop? Come join us and ensure the company fleet is kept in tip-top condition, while respecting budgets, deadlines and in-house and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure vehicles and trailers are maintained in perfect working order
Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections
Diagnose defects and carry out repairs
Liaise with vehicle manufacturers
Organise parts acquisition and replacement vehicles
Ensure highest levels of safety and cleanliness
Update and maintain records
Keep key colleagues and departments informed of progress

Requirements:

Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in HGV/LGV maintenance and repair
Experience in using transport repair tools and associated software
Ability to follow established procedures, solve problems and make sound judgments
Organised and able to work well under pressure
Good soft skills for dealing with colleagues and customers
Attention to detail
Ability to analyse and interpret data
Flexible for on-call duties, emergency callouts and travel to other depots
