This is a hands on workshop based role responsible for stripping, inspecting, repairing and testing Hagglunds hydraulic drive systems and components. You will play a key role in supporting customer delivery deadlines while ensuring all work is completed to high standards of quality, safety and cost efficiency. Working closely with the Engineering and External Service teams, you will contribute to reliable aftermarket support outcomes through accurate diagnostics, technical reporting and professional workshop practices.
Job Responsibility:
Strip, inspect, diagnose and repair Bosch Rexroth Hagglunds hydraulic drive systems and associated components within the workshop environment, ensuring quality, cost and delivery targets are achieved
Conduct functional testing and quality checks on repaired products and systems, completing all required service reports, test documentation and quotations accurately and in a timely manner
Plan and prepare service activities, including gathering parts, tooling and technical information required to complete jobs efficiently and safely
Maintain workshop equipment, tools and calibrated test assets, ensuring housekeeping, HSE standards and internal procedures are consistently upheld
Share technical knowledge and product insights with the Engineering team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the service function
Provide operational support to the External Service Department, including occasional off site assistance and collaboration to meet broader business requirements
Requirements:
Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
Trade qualification as a Hydraulic Fitter (or equivalent)
Previous experience in field service and/or hydraulic system maintenance
Strong hydraulic system knowledge and diagnostic ability
