Job Description:

Xpert Resourcing are currently seeking a Workshop Operative (Prehung) to join a well-established and industry-leading manufacturer based in Ely. Job Responsibility:

  • Running woodworking machinery efficiently
  • Trimming and finishing internal door products to a high standard
  • Following detailed specification sheets and assembly instructions
  • Checking for damages and correct labelling on products
  • Maintaining optimum stock levels to ensure continuous production flow
  • Assisting with general workshop and housekeeping duties
  • Manual handling and moving stock using forklift or lifting gear

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment (preferred)
  • Counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Good communication and teamworking skills
  • Adherence to health & safety regulations at all times

  • Preventative, periodic and reactive maintenance on existing electrics across our car park estate
  • Problem solving, problem detection and repairing system faults using a logical approach
  • Carry out testing on ANPR equipment
  • Responsible for ensuring safe working practices and always adhering to Health & Safety regulations and expectations when carrying out any work
  • Liaising with clients/customers and other on-site trades regarding our works to obtain relevant information required for the task
