Job Responsibility

Lead and coach a team of mechanics, and contractors to deliver safe, efficient outcomes
Plan and prioritise maintenance, servicing, and repairs to maximise fleet availability
Drive a strong safety-first culture across all workshop activities
Manage workshop performance, including costs, utilisation, and equipment uptime
Coordinate field service, breakdown response, and external repairs
Ensure all equipment meets Coates’ quality standards

Assist training and the development of newly recruited technicians and develop multi-skilling within the workshop as identified with Technicians and the Clinical Lead Prosthetist
