Workshop Hose Assembly Fitter needed to produce quality hose assemblies, ensure safety, and support warehouse operations. In this role, you will provide efficient, accurate, and high-quality manufacturing services for our hose assembly and hose management programs both in our factory and on site.
Job Responsibility:
Manufacture and test industrial and hydraulic hose assemblies to Australian Standards
Perform workshop duties including work orders, scheduling, fitting, and cleaning tasks
Safely represent the company when on site, adhering to Workplace Health and Safety guidelines
Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Use computer systems to manage stock control, purchase orders, invoicing, and customer enquiries
Assist with stock receiving, storage, inventory checks, and maintenance of a clean, safe working environment
Support the warehouse and customer service teams as required
Requirements:
Previous experience in hose assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is preferred
Strong knowledge of workshop procedures and safety practices
Forklift license preferred but not essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Physically fit to perform manual handling including lifting items over 25kg, reaching, twisting, and pushing trolleys
Capability to work in both internal and external environments safely
Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa to be eligible to apply for this position
