Job Description:

Workshop Hose Assembly Fitter needed to produce quality hose assemblies, ensure safety, and support warehouse operations. In this role, you will provide efficient, accurate, and high-quality manufacturing services for our hose assembly and hose management programs both in our factory and on site.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manufacture and test industrial and hydraulic hose assemblies to Australian Standards
  • Perform workshop duties including work orders, scheduling, fitting, and cleaning tasks
  • Safely represent the company when on site, adhering to Workplace Health and Safety guidelines
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Use computer systems to manage stock control, purchase orders, invoicing, and customer enquiries
  • Assist with stock receiving, storage, inventory checks, and maintenance of a clean, safe working environment
  • Support the warehouse and customer service teams as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in hose assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of workshop procedures and safety practices
  • Forklift license preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Physically fit to perform manual handling including lifting items over 25kg, reaching, twisting, and pushing trolleys
  • Capability to work in both internal and external environments safely
  • Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa to be eligible to apply for this position
