Inspecting machines when they arrive in the country to ensure the equipment meets the correct quality standards and accurately recording information of defects.
Carry out visual inspections, take photos, complete relevant paperwork and update on the CRM system
Carry out monthly stock inspections if machines are stored in the yard for set periods of time.
Control the machine inspection tracker sheet.
Keep all machines and attachments in the correct locations in a tidy manner.
Fit DataTag kits to machines and ensure all paperwork is complete and submitted to process.
Requirements:
Most importantly is an eye for detail and a customer focussed approach to quality
Basic knowledge of Excel / Word programmes and the ability to update the inhouse CRM system
Being able to complete paperwork accurately.
Experience working with Heavy Plant equipment with some mechanical knowledge.
Being able to operate excavators, Telehandlers, Wheeled loading shovels in a safe manner is desirable although training will be given.
Demonstrated self-starter with strong initiative skills and a can-do positive attitude
the ability to work autonomously.
Ability to work effectively in a team when required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience of carrying out risk assessments and health & safety knowledge within the workplace is desirable.
Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel independently to the job site.
A clean DBS check will be required due to machine DataTag security rules
