Job Description:

This is one of the busiest and most critical roles within the dealership, responsible for the day-to-day control of a large workshop with over 25 technicians. You will be accountable for planning, prioritising and allocating work to technicians, ensuring maximum productivity, efficient workflow and strict adherence to deadlines in a high-pressure, high-volume environment. This role requires someone who is exceptionally organised, thrives under pressure, and is confident managing competing priorities throughout the day.

Job Responsibility:

Controlling and coordinating workflow across a large workshop operation
Allocating work effectively to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity
Managing technician time, resources and job flow
Ensuring all incoming work is planned accurately and delivered on time
Maintaining high standards in a fast-paced dealership environment

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or similar senior workshop role
Motor Trade background essential (workshop or senior technician level)
Highly organised with the ability to work calmly under pressure
Confident decision-maker in a time-critical environment
Full, valid UK driving licence
