This is an opportunity to lead an established workshop team, influence day-to-day performance and make a real impact on efficiency, customer outcomes and team development.
Job Responsibility:
Controlling workshop workflow to ensure productivity and efficiency targets are achieved
Supporting, coaching and guiding technicians to maintain performance and quality standards
Managing job allocation, progress and completion in line with customer and business expectations
Working closely with Service Advisors to support a smooth, professional customer journey
Monitoring quality, rework and productivity to drive continuous improvement
Maintaining a safe, organised and professional workshop environment
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Manager or Quality Controller within the automotive industry is desirable
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in an automotive-related discipline
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
A professional and positive approach with excellent attention to detail
Passion for the motor trade and a strong work ethic
Full UK Driving Licence required
