Job Description:

We are a North of England–based company looking to recruit a reliable and motivated Workshop Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is mechanically minded and enjoys working in a practical, workshop-based environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting with the servicing and maintenance of tow-behind vehicle trailers
  • Supporting the fitting and installation of vehicle equipment such as beacons and related accessories
  • General workshop duties, including maintaining a clean and organised workspace
  • Working as part of a team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard

Requirements:

  • A mechanically minded individual with a practical approach to work
  • Someone who enjoys working with tools and in a workshop setting
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ideally based within reasonable commuting distance of the North York area
