Workplace health coaching creates real behavior change when it's personal, accessible, and embedded within the culture employees experience every day. As our client-dedicated Workplace Health Coach, you'll provide individual and group coaching that helps employees navigate health challenges and build sustainable habits. You'll design and facilitate health education programs, lead the site's Wellness Committee, and serve as the face of wellbeing for a high-profile financial client in Omaha. Your ability to build trusted coaching relationships, drive platform engagement, and create programming that employees actually want to participate in directly determines whether this workplace culture shifts toward genuine health improvement. This is a 30-hour per week, benefit-eligible, onsite position supporting a high-profile financial client in Omaha, Nebraska.
Job Responsibility
Deliver individual and group coaching: Conduct coaching sessions across multiple modalities (in-person and virtual) focused on health improvement and wellbeing using evidence-based strategies
Apply coaching methodologies: Utilize motivational interviewing, appreciative inquiry, and participant-led focus to support employees with a wide variety of health concerns and drive meaningful behavior change
Design health programming: Create and facilitate onsite and virtual health education programs including workshops, group coaching, webinars, and other events that engage diverse employee populations
Lead Wellness Committee: Provide leadership to site's Wellness Committee, inspiring members and assisting in planning activities including blood drives, cooking demos, and other health initiatives
Guide to appropriate resources: Direct employees to appropriate external resources for health concerns outside scope of work while maintaining coaching relationships
Drive platform adoption: Serve as Personify Health platform expert, supporting enrollment and ongoing engagement with associated solutions, resources, and partners
Use data to improve outcomes: Leverage metrics to assist in driving individual participant improvement and continuously refine participant experience while streamlining processes and procedures
Interface with client leadership: Coordinate with client's Corporate Benefits team, who provides oversight to Workplace Health Coaches, to align programming with organizational priorities
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in health-related field
Master's degree preferred
NBHWC or ICF certification preferred (required within 2 years of hire)
3-5 years experience in health coaching or related fields (behavioral health, general wellbeing, exercise training, nutrition coaching, nursing)
2-4 years experience with individual behavior change management, motivational interviewing, and health coaching preferred
Experience conducting individual and group coaching sessions in confidential environments preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Proficiency with electronic documentation and ability to learn new technology/systems quickly
Demonstrated expertise in event coordination from strategic planning through execution
Ability to deliver presentations to diverse audiences at all organizational levels via multiple modalities (virtual and in-person)
Experience using metrics to track and drive participant health improvement outcomes
Ability to navigate matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders and decision makers
